In 2009, after generations of pecan and row crop farming, Dr. Kim Johnston & son, Blake Johnston, returned to pecan farming. The father & son team’s vision was to provide the freshest, most delicious pecans on the market.
Johnston Farms currently owns and operates just over 1,250 acres of pecan orchards in Macon & Crawford counties in Central Georgia. By planting all of their own trees, the company was able to pick only the newest and best pecan varieties which has led to lower input cost while producing larger amounts of higher quality pecans than many other growers.
While most of Johnston Farms pecan crop is sold as bulk in-shell throughout the USA and Asia via brokers, we have hand picked some of our favorite varieties to shell and sell directly to our great Johnston Pecan Farms’ customers at incredibly low prices.
100% of the pecans we sell at Johnston Pecan Farms come from the trees planted and farmed by Johnston Farms in central Georgia.
